An investment strategy is an important aspect of investing. You want a plan that guides you through picking and investing in stocks.

So what sort of investment strategy should you follow?

Here is one to consider…

Look at what investment strategy the best investors follow

There’s no point trying to invent your own investment strategy when there are ones out there that clearly work for others. So find investors who are successful, such as investment great Warren Buffett, and invest the way they do.

What you need to do is make a short list of the best investors out there and then watch what they buy.

Once you know the stocks they bought and at what price, you can then try to buy these stocks when they trade at the same level or less.

For example, when Warren Buffett invested in IBM. If you found out that he paid $100 a share, you wait until the share price for IBM is trading at $100 or less. If you end up buying it for less than what Buffett paid, even better.

This investment strategy saves you money on fees

This investment strategy involves taking advice from the most successful investors out there. Plus, you don’t have to pay for the advice of an expensive fund manager or stock broker to do this.

You need to follow everything that these investors do. See what trends they’re following

You could also watch the performance of funds. For the ones that are outperforming, check what they have in their portfolio that you could benefit from in yours.

By keeping an eye on what the investment greats are doing, you can apply this to your own investing. Your portfolio could reap the benefits.

So there you have it. A winning investment strategy to consider.
